acoustic xmas, night one was fantastic, and i can't believe i'm awake and functioning this early. i think everyone saved themselves just a little for tonight, with the better lineup and even more drinking and schmoozing.
the usual kroq suspects were there, along with the friends i only see every year at acoustic, and made some new friends. i rode the shuttle to the show with Rise Against (per Alex, "the hardest rocking vegans ever"), met AFI on kevin and bean's pre-show, and marveled at how pretty and vapid Audrina from The Hills is in person. She wins the award for most random celeb appearance but supposedly Courtney Love may give her a run for her money tonight.
night one's highlights included AFI, Rise Against, and everyone holding their breath through STP's show, waiting for Scott Weiland to lose his shit. (he made it through!) and then there was the afterparty, which ended at 3am at mel's diner with the surliest waitress ever. good times!
